Another slopiness to start the new year

Hi there! Happy new year 2015! Hope this year will bring miracles in our life! Let me begin with my first post in 2015!
Remember last year when I wrote you about the first mistake that I did to open 2014?
Well, apparently I'm still the same old me who is so clumsy and careless. Tragic, right?

This year, on first of January I didn't prepare much or make many resolutions. The only three things that I hoped I could fix were:

1. Coming late to the office
2. Going to sleep late
3. Having swing mood

But obviously I have to update my list after what I did this morning.

Okay, I admit that I didn't wake up so early and I had to worry whether I could make to the office on time, but in the end I arrived right on time. Give me some applause please.. :)

But after I was half way to my office, I realized one thing. I forgot my ID card!
and that thing surely is not some unimportant card that you use just to identify who are you to the securities. Why?
Let me explain how important that small thing is.

In my office, for the engineers like me, there are two different types of access.
One, the IPP level 2 (that's how they call it) : you have the right to access a room but you have to tap your card to open the door.

Two, the IPP level 3 (and very fortunate, I'm in the IPP level 3.. Yeay....) : you have the right to access to a room (I call it Platform Developer room) where you work of course. but you can only enter it one by one. How? They build two very small rooms in front of Platform Developer Room where you can only enter it alone.

This small room has two doors.
So in detail, to enter Platform Developer Room, you have to:

1. press a button to open door no 1
2. enter the small room alone
3. close door no 1
4. tap your card to the machine, and it will also need your fingerprint to identify you.
5. after the machine successfully identify who you are, you can open door no 2 and enter Platform Developer Room

To exit Platform Developer Room, you have to:

1. tap your card
2. open door no 2
3. enter the small room alone
4. close door no 2
5. press a button in the room to open door no 1

Now can you imagine how in the world I can forget to bring that super important card?
Can we conclude that forgetting my ID card to be my first mistake in this year? Hahaha..

Luckily the two doors has a bug and we, as testers and developers, can find the bug easily. So this morning whenever I need to go in or out of the room, I will call one of my friend to borrow his card and his fingerprint and perform the never-should-be-done thing to open the two doors at the same time.
I won't explain how because it will break the rule :)
Sorry guys... I still need my job :P

In the end of my post, I will update my list. Here are the thing I should try to avoid:

1. Coming late to the office
2. Going to sleep late
3. Having swing mood
4. Forgetting my ID card  Being careless?
