Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Cassandra.
Unlike any other girls, she didn't like to play with her friends. All she liked
was sitting in front of her mirror. Until one day, she thought that she had
fallen in love with her reflection.
“Oh, my dear girl in the mirror, how lovely is your face. There
is no one compares to your beauty,” she said.
She smiled and the reflection smiled back at her. She felt
very happy.
Every day she met her reflection, praised her and smiled. The
reflection always smiled back.

Until one day, Cassandra went to her school as usual, she
studied. During the break, she was going to have her lunch, but no one wanted
to sit beside her.
“You’re a loony. Go and have your lunch in front of your
stupid mirror,” one of her classmate yelled at Cassandra.
“Sorry, no place for a crazy and pathetic girl here,” the
other girl said when Cassandra wanted to sit beside her.
No one wanted her to be there, so she ran home and cried.
She desperately needed to talk to her only friend, her reflection, so she went
in front of the mirror. And she met her.
She took a look at the mirror and gasped. The reflection was
crying!
“Dear my reflection, why are you crying?” Cassandra asked.
The reflection didn’t reply.
“Tell me my dear… why are you crying? Don’t you know that
makes me sad not to be able to understand you?” she felt hurt for the
reflection makes her even sadder.
The reflection remained silent, only her tears downed like a
stream.
“Please… Tell me… I want to help you.” Cassandra begged.
Still, all Cassandra heard was her reflection’s sobs.
Cassandra was furious.
“Why you don’t answer! Don’t you know that I love you so
much? Don’t you feel the same for me?”
The reflection cried even louder.
“Say it! Do you love me too? Do you?” Cassandra screamed to
her reflection.
There was never a reply, so Cassandra just stared blankly at
the mirror.
The next day, her parents found her body in her room.
Cassandra had killed herself. She left a letter which said
“Dear my reflection,
All my life I want a person to say that she loves me and I always believed that it was you who would say that. But you never say that. I can’t take this anymore so I choose to leave you. Goodbye my dearest reflection.
-Cassandra-”
She never realized that in order to hear her reflection said that she
loved her, all she got to do was say “I love you” to herself.
